Hi,
I wonder when the chapter 5.2.2.8 Future performance enhancements from the spec(https://www.dmtf.org/sites/default/files/standards/documents/DSP0233_1.0.1.pdf) will be clearly defined?
If the packet format is similar to I3C SDR mode, I have two questions:
1. Do the boardcase address(0x7E), ENTHDR command and HDR command word need to be calculated into PEC? 1.1 If yes, there is a problem that Controller can read the response in SDR or HDR mode after IBI and it will be difficult for the Target to calculate PEC before the data transmission. 2. In I3C SDR mode, the last byte is PEC of MCTP packet, but in I3C HDR-DDR mode, the data transmission unit is 2 bytes. how to identify where PEC byte is without packet length.
Thank you.

Sorry to be late in the reply.
This section (5.2.2.8) lists potential future enhancements that could be defined in the specification in the future but they have not been defined yet. For this reason, we don’t know the packet format for DDR mode yet and whether it would be similar to I3C SDR mode. Regardless, these are very good questions that should be taken into consideration when working on the future revision of the specification. You are very welcome to join the PMCI WG and contribute, provide a proposal.
